Pahinungod UPOU Holds a Workshop on Therapeutic Communication for OSA Proctors

The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) collaborated with the Ugnayan ng Pahinungód University of the Philippines Open University in conducting a workshop on Therapeutic Communication on 27 February 2023. The workshop was conducted in a hybrid format. A face-to-face and an online session was simultaneously held at the Centennial Center for Digital Learning Auditorium (CCDL), UPOU Headquarters and online via Zoom. Twenty-eight (28) proctors participated in the event at CCDL while four participants attended the workshop via Zoom. Pahinungod UPOU, OSR, AUPWU – Diliman and UPOU Chapter Hold ICT Training for Dumagat IPs

True to its mission of reaching out to underserved communities, the Ugnayan ng Pahinungod UPOU, in collaboration with the Office of the Staff Regent  (OSR), and the All UP Workers Union (AUPWU) Diliman and Open University Chapters, conducted an ICT Literacy training program among the youth of the Dumagat Indigenous People community from Rodriguez, Rizal, last 8 and 15 October 2022. The Ugnayan ng Pahinungod University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) conducted a webinar-workshop on Gratitude Art Journaling last 31 March 2022.  Ms. Jestine Crhistia V. Prof. Queenie Roxas-Ridulme, a faculty member from the Faculty of Management and Development Studies (FMDS), University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) is the newly-appointed Director of the Ugnayan ng Pahinungód UPOU effective 1 October 2021. She is also the designated Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs for Data Management and one of the FMDS Mental Health Focal Persons. The Ugnayan ng Pahinungod University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) conducted a training on dialogic reading for parents titled “Sama-sama sa Pagbasa: Paggamit ng Dialogic Reading Method sa Pagbabasa Kasama ang Pamilya” on 16 July to 13 August 2021. The project aimed to train parents on the application of the dialogic reading method as a technique in teaching reading to children.  Dialogic reading is a reading technique developed by Grover J.
