In preparation for the August 2024 Civil Service Examination, the Ugnayan ng Pahinungód UPOU and All UP Workers Union-UPOU Chapter collaborated once again to provide free review sessions among UPOU employees and their immediate family members. There were a total of five sessions conducted which were held every Monday of July 2024, from 1 PM to 5 PM, at the UPOU Headquarters in Los Baños, Laguna. Pahinungod holds RHU visits in Laguna for Online Mother’s Class Course Offering

The Ugnayan ng Pahinungód UPOU held online and in-person meetings with Rural Health Units (RHUs) in Laguna to introduce and promote its newest course entitled, "Online Mother’s Class on Newborn and Infant Care." In collaboration with the Office of Gender Concerns UPOU, the course aims to equip pregnant, first-time, and postpartum mothers with essential knowledge and skills in caring for their newborns and infants. Pahinungód UPOU conducts UPCAT Simulation for Schools of Region X

The Ugnayan ng Pahinungod conducted the UPCAT simulation sessions for aspiring Iskolar ng Bayan from Region X last August 5-8, 2024 as part of the University’s commitment to democratizing access to UP education. The initiative aims to familiarize UPCAT takers with exam procedures, guidelines, and protocols, orient them on exam materials, and provide a mock examination experience. UPOU’s P.A.W. Project Launched to Safeguard Animal Welfare

On 05 April 2024, the Ugnayan ng Pahinungod UPOU, in collaboration with the Campus Development and Maintenance Office (CDMO), launched the Protecting Animal Welfare (PAW) Project. The initiative was conducted at the UPOU CCDL and was attended by staff representing various university units and offices. Ugnayan ng Pahinungód UPOU Launches KaYa: A Mental Health App

To support the mental well-being of the UPOU community, Ugnayan ng Pahinungód UPOU launched KaYa (Kalinga at Yakap) App last 29 April  2024. KaYa App is a mental health application that features free mental health-related webinars, stress management videos, creative space, and personal e-journals. In celebration of Stress Awareness Month, the app was further introduced to the employees, staff, and students of UPOU with the help of User’s Guide and other informative publication materials. The Ugnayan ng Pahinungód UPOU, in collaboration with the UP Open University (UPOU) Office of Public Affairs (OPA) and the Department of Education (DepEd) Region X, conducted a UP Admission Orientation for Grade 11 students in Northern Mindanao. Understanding and responding to behavior is critical to successful academic and self-regulation training, both in the classroom and at home. On 16 March 2024, the Ugnayan ng Pahinungód UPOU collaborated with two distinguished speakers in the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) to provide teachers and the general public across the country with an understanding of the systematic and scientific approach to behavioral analysis. CSE Review Sessions In preparation for the Civil Service Examination, the Ugnayan ng Pahinungód UPOU, in collaboration with the All UP Workers Union (AUPWU) - OU Chapter, holds review sessions for the UPOU employees (including COS staff) and their immediate family members who will be taking the exam. The review sessions aim to prepare the participants in taking the Civil Service Examination by refreshing/adding their knowledge on the topics covered on the said exam. Pahinungód UPOU Launches Bata, Basa Reading Program
