The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) collaborated with the Ugnayan ng Pahinungód University of the Philippines Open University in conducting a workshop on Therapeutic Communication on 27 February 2023. The workshop was conducted in a hybrid format. A face-to-face and an online session was simultaneously held at the Centennial Center for Digital Learning Auditorium (CCDL), UPOU Headquarters and online via Zoom. True to its mission of reaching out to underserved communities, the Ugnayan ng Pahinungod UPOU, in collaboration with the Office of the Staff Regent  (OSR), and the All UP Workers Union (AUPWU) Diliman and Open University Chapters, conducted an ICT Literacy training program among the youth of the Dumagat Indigenous People community from Rodriguez, Rizal, last 8 and 15 October 2022. The Ugnayan ng Pahinungod University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) conducted a training on dialogic reading for parents titled “Sama-sama sa Pagbasa: Paggamit ng Dialogic Reading Method sa Pagbabasa Kasama ang Pamilya” on 16 July to 13 August 2021.
