The Ugnayan ng Pahinungód UPOU thanks previous Director Dr. Queenie-Roxas Ridulme for her dedication and passion to serve the underserved and marginalized communities in the Philippines from 2021 to 2025. Her legacy is forever remembered in the programs and activities she led and launched that will continuously impact the lives of hundreds and thousands of Filipinos.

Through her fervent leadership, she has spearheaded the development, launching, and implementations of new programs. The Protecting Animal Welfare (PAW) project that aims to manage campus animals taking shelter in the premises of the university. The Kalinga at Yakap (KaYa) app which is a mental health and wellness application aimed to raise awareness on mental health issues, and support the needs and concerns of the community on mental health. It included the Stress Reduction Technique Series (SRTS) on Mobile Photography and a Psychological First Aid webinar. The Online Mothers’ Class had its first pilot course offering, which is a one-month course that aims to promote maternal and postnatal care by conducting a series of sessions that deals with appropriate methods of newborn and infant care. The first offering of the E-Guro Introductory Course also transpired, a program that aims to strengthen the capacity of the K to 3 teachers in literacy and numeracy through a series of regular professional development activities.

With these programs and projects, Pahinungod UPOU continues its mission to make the university a more caring academic community that is bound together by a commitment to the empowerment of the people and selfless service to the nation.
