Bata, Basa Reading Program

This reading intervention program aims to assist the teachers and parents/guardians in improving the reading skills of K to 3 learners using their Mother Tongue and promote love for reading among learners. Activities of the program include thrice-a-week reading sessions (facilitated by teachers and parents) and once-a-month kumustahan sessions with parents. A culminating activity was also conducted to recognize the participation of pupils, parents and teachers in the program.

Target Participants: Kinder to Grade 3 learners, parents and teachers

  • Participants: Grade 3 learners from Sto. Domingo Elementary School, Bay, Laguna

Celebration of National Reading Month

In celebration of National Reading Month every November, storytelling sessions were conducted at different elementary schools to promote appreciation for reading.
