To continue its commitment to providing learning opportunities, the Ugnayan ng Pahinungód UPOU conducts various webinars and trainings catered to the different sectors of the society.
Held on 28 July 2021, 2 pm via Zoom video conference and live streamed via the Ugnayan ng Pahinungód UPOU Facebook page, this webinar aims to promote the Read Aloud reading strategy to the parents and caregivers.

This webinar, conducted via Zoom on 25 August 2021, aimed to train the participants how to write an effective and appealing resumé; and provide the participants with techniques and tips in preparing for a job interview.
Ms. Anna Victoria Dolores, Instructor 4 from the Department of Humanities, UPLB, and a student of MA Language and Literacy Education (MALLE) program of the Faculty of Education UPOU, served as the resource speaker. Ms. Genevieve Aguinaldo, Ugnayan ng Pahinungód UPOU volunteer and MALLE student acted as the moderator. Grades 10-12 students attended this webinar.
This 4-week program aims to train the parents on applying the dialogic reading method as a technique in teaching reading to children. Parents of struggling readers of the pupils of San Antonio Elementary School served as the beneficiaries of this program, implemented on 16 July – 13 August 2021 via Google Meet.

This webinar, conducted on 27 August 2021 via Zoom, aims to develop the skills of the students on poetry writing; and train the participants to create their own poetry work. Assoc. Prof. Dennis Andrew Aguinaldo, faculty from the English Division, Department of Humanities, UPLB, served as the resource speaker for webinar, while Ms. Genevieve Aguinaldo, Ugnayan ng Pahinungód UPOU volunteer and Master of Arts in Language and Literacy Education (MALLE) student moderated the webinar.
This webinar was open to Grades 10-12 students of the schools located in Bay and Los Baños, Laguna and the participants of the previous bridge courses.
This two-day training, held on 8 and 15 October 2022, aims to capacitate the Dumagat youth of Rodriguez, Rizal in their computer proficiency and information and technology literacy skills that would be beneficial for their future career endeavors. This activity is in partnership with the Office of Staff Regent and the All UP Workers Union, Diliman and Open University Chapters.
