The office in partnership with Concentrix Philippines, a technology-enabled global business services company, launched a massive open online course titled Introductory Course on Contact Center Services (ICCS). This course focuses on developing effective online communication skills that will provide competitive skills and knowledge for ICT-enabled and contact services-related jobs.
The course includes learning resources developed into five modules which focus on the introduction to the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry, fundamentals of grammar knowledge, customer interaction skill development activities, developing effective conversation, communication and reading drills, and self-assessment activities. The modules also included activities that engage the participants in an experiential practice and learning about contact center services. It also provides linkage opportunities to participants who are interested in pursuing a career in the contact service industry.
