In line with the commitment of the office to reaching underserved communities nationwide, the office in partnership with DepEd Region X, offered the online bridge program to Luyungan IP High School and Talakag National High School located in Malaybalay and Bukidnon, respectively. 80 – 100% of the students in both schools belong to indigenous peoples groups in the region.

Bridge English and Bridge Mathematics courses were offered to Grades 11-12 students of these schools on 4 June – 28 June 2022. The courses are hosted in the UPOU MODeL platform. Synchronous sessions via Zoom were also conducted to enrich the discussion of module topics.

Intended for the general public, Bridge English, Bridge Mathematics, and Bridge Physics were offered on 20 July – 31 August 2022 via the UPOU MODeL platform. Volunteer course coordinators were tapped to conduct synchronous sessions on the module topics. Certificates of Completion were given to students who were able to complete the course requirements.

In celebration of the completion of the offering of the three bridge courses, an online closing ceremony was held on 22 October 2022 via Zoom and live-streamed via the Ugnayan ng Pahinungód UPOU Facebook page.
