To continue its service of  providing learning opportunities to different sectors of the society, the Ugnayan ng Pahinungod UPOU will hold writing webinars, scheduled this August 2021, which targets Grades 10-12 students. These webinars aim to equip them in different subject areas that might be helpful in their studies or in pursuing their college education.

The first webinar, titled Résumé Writing and Job Interview Preparation, is scheduled on 25 August 2021, 2PM via Zoom platform. This webinar aims to train the participants how to write an effective and appealing resume; and provide the participants with techniques and tips in preparing for a job interview. These will be helpful should the students undergo work immersion as a part of their curriculum. This also serves to prepare them for seeking job employment in the future. 

Ms. Anna Victoria Dolores, an Instructor from Wika Division, Department of Humanities, College of Arts and Sciences, UPLB, will serve as the resource speaker. She is also a student under MA LLE program of the Faculty of Education UPOU.  

The second webinar which will be conducted via Zoom on 27 August 2021, 2PM is titled Diskarte’t Disenyo sa Pagbuo ng Tula. This webinar aims to develop skills of the students on poetry writing, and train the participants to create their own poetry work. This will be helpful particularly to those who are in the Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strand, and to those who are interested in writing poetry. 

Assoc. Prof. Dennis Andrew Aguinaldo from the English Division of Department of Humanities, College of Arts and Sciences, UPLB, will serve as the resource speaker for this webinar.
