This webinar will be about Online Resources for  Teaching Elementary Reading.The webinar will feature Dr. Minerva Young as the resource speaker. Dr. Young is the founder and School Directress of Learning Circle School in Olongapo City, Philippines.  She is a retired professor of Educational Technology from Frostburg State University in Maryland. She has been speaking internationally on the topics of instructional technology and teacher training.  Now based in the United States, she was able to teach Filipino children in Grades 1 and 2 at Learning Circle online during the past school year.Ugnayan ng Pahinungod UPOU has been conducting webinars aimed to help targeted groups to improve reading skills among the children and youth. This time, the webinar is specifically aimed to provide online resources relevant to teaching Elementary Reading among teachers. It will also train teachers to create assessment materials and supplementary teaching materials to improve reading among elementary pupils.  For this webinar, Grades 1 to 6 teachers from UPOU partner schools in Bay and Los Ba\u00f1os, Laguna, Bataan, Cebu and Davao are the participants.The webinar will be held on 15 September 2021 starting 9:00 AM via Zoom.
